James W. Rhodes, a retired teacher-coach, is a free lance writer who lives in Coleraine, Minnesota.  He is an avid outdoorsman with a love of travel--Jim has guided canoeists in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, bicycled, backpacked and traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe, photographing scenic sights.  His trademark picture poems are a combination of scenic photography and original verse related to life and nature.
