Expect to enjoy yourself!

Let go of any ideas you may have about a Performing Arts Center and open yourself up to a new live entertainment experience unlike any other you’ll find north of the Twin Cities:

There is No Dress Code
Anything that makes you feel comfortable is appropriate. On a performance night, you’ll see everything from jeans, slacks and khakis to suits, ties and elegant dresses. Some people enjoy dressing up and making a special night of it, and you can too.

Come Early
Plan to arrive at the theater 30 minutes before the show so you can find your seat, turn off your cell phone, enjoy the visual art on display, socialize in our newly expanded lobby, and absorb the atmosphere. You’ll be surrounded by others who share the buzz and anticipation of a special event. If you arrive at the last minute, you may not have time to get settled in, which may affect how you, and others around you, enjoy the performance. It is courteous to arrive ahead of time.

Show Length
Broadway shows, concerts, and comedy events are usually two hours long, on average, and most have an intermission. However, our ‘Theater for a Young Audience’ events last one hour. It’s a good idea to look at the program to get an idea of what to expect, or contact the box office for more details.

Intermission
Most, but not all, performances have an intermission, which usually runs 15-20 minutes. This gives you time to socialize, get a snack or beverage from the Reif Café (open for select events) in the lobby, visit the facilities, or simply sit in your seat and read the program notes. Do whatever puts you in a good frame of mind for the second half of the show.

Accessibility
If you need hearing assistance devices, wheelchair or limited mobility seating, large print playbills, or help finding your seat, let us know. We pride ourselves on making sure that everyone who wants to attend our events can not only do so, but do so comfortably. We also have sign language interpreters available upon request (at no charge to you). For more information on Accessibility click here.Above all, enjoy yourself! If you have a question or need assistance of any kind please just ask a member of our staff.
