Writer and notorious marriage detractor Mortimer Brewster falls for girl-next-door Elaine Harper, and they tie the knot on Halloween. When the newlyweds return to their respective family homes to deliver the news, Brewster finds a corpse hidden in a window seat. With his eccentric aunts, disturbed uncle, and homicidal brother, he starts to realize that his family is even crazier than he thought.

James Sewell Ballet joins forces with the exciting and unique style of the Ahn Trio to create a new dance piece with the Trio’s arrangement of Prince’s Purple Rain and other existing repertoire. During this performance the three sisters will accompany the dancers, then delight you with their special, unspoken virtuosity. Also on the program will be a new commissioned work by James Sewell set to Dvorak’s Romance for Violin and Orchestra.
The Itasca Symphony Orchestra presents an evening of overtures to capture your imagination. In your mind’s eye: travel to Great Britain and explore a spectacular basalt sea cave; root for the hero who dies for his cause with a certainty that freedom and the dignity of all human kind will prevail; battle the forces of good and evil with the hunter who sells his soul to the devil; and allow yourself to be swept up by the overture that has inspired everyone from Bugs Bunny to Seinfeld.
