This program brings together the open, luminous soundscapes of Appalachian Spring, the soaring lyricism of The Lark Ascending, performed by our concertmaster, Irina Murdick and Bold North: A Year in Wild Minnesota by Minnesota composer Benji Inniger, performed live to film. At a moment when our community and the wider world have felt the weight of events of the current year, these works invite us to gather, to listen more closely, and to rediscover a sense of shared ground through music that speaks of landscape, resilience, and quiet renewal.
