Joel Trygstad
Fargo, North Dakota
Photography
Joel Trygstad learned photography from his
father and spent hundred of hours developing film and making prints the
"old-fashioned way" in the darkroom. Trained as a Medical Technician and
later as an Electrical Engineer, photography has remained a passion throughout his 51
years. His work is included in numerous private collections, including the
superintendent of ISD #318. Trygstad recently made the move to digital images and
converted many of his old negatives to digital files. All images in this current
exhibition are printed with a Canon i9100 ink-jet printer on Canon Photo Paper Pro using
Canon inks. These are archival quality images that will not show noticeable fading
over at least 20 years.
