Celebrating Over 30 Years of Letting Our Light Shine!
Reif Arts Council invites Reif dance alumni to celebrate over 30 years of Reif Dance! Since its inception in 1989 by founding director; Mary Pettit, Reif Dance has consistently provided quality dance and performance education to thousands of students. The program has not only shaped the lives of participating dancers, but also positively impacted the entire Grand Rapids community. The 2022 reunion will enable attendees to honor the rich history of Reif Dance, observe the current program, and look to its promising future.
Reunion highlights include; dance and yoga classes taught by past and present Reif Dance instructors; screening of selected Reif Dance performance videos; gallery exhibit featuring Reif Dance costumes and props; tours of the facility; and a catered lunch.
In addition, you may purchase tickets for one of three weekend performances of the 2022 Reif Dance spring production, The Twelve Dancing Princesses. The revival of this production from the Reif Dance repertoire of favorites runs concurrently with the reunion, with performances on June 10-12.
Whether you participated early on in the program, or are a recent graduate, you won’t want to miss this opportunity to reunite and reminisce at the Reif Center, where dancers continue to let their light shine!
